About us:

The Louisville-Nimishillen Historical Society (LNHS) was founded May 1, 2010 and is one of the youngest historical societies in Stark County. Our mission is to collect, preserve, and share the history and heritage of Nimishillen Township and the city of Louisville, and to educate and inform those in the area with interest. LNHS strives to collect and protect written/published materials, photographs, and any other media, be it audio or video, that is of historical or cultural value or significance, past and present.

Our current collection mainly consists of photographs and images and some published materials, along with some three-dimensional objects we have been able to collect and borrow with the help of the communiy.

LNHS presents fun educational programs of interest to its membership with an open invitation for everyone to attend these free events as well as Art/Craft classes that are open to the public at a small fee.
Thank you for your continued support!
